Minnesota Stay at Home Order Exempts Auto Sales by Appointment Only; Permits auto parts and service operations, and Ag and Construction Equipment Dealer Operations

Yesterday, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz issued followed the growing list of States issuing Stay at Home orders. The order permits auto sales “that are necessary to allow for essential travel, when conducted by appointment,” and meeting public health guidelines including social distancing. Auto parts supply and repair services are included among the list of necessary supplies and services.

The Order also permits ag equipment repair services, as well as sales of “products, tools, materials, or supplies necessary for” Critical Sectors work, including agriculture and construction.
